About Kat Lyons

Kat is an innovated, dedicated visual developer and background artist with years’ experience working in multi-functional teams for some of the top entertainment in the country. She is a skilled illustrator with a proven record of generating and building relationships, managing projects from concept to completion, and collaborating with fellow artists.

She is currently drawing and art directing for David Korins Design, working on projects such as the Hamilton Exhibition in Chicago, Beetlejuice on Broadway, the Oscars in Los Angeles, and the Elton John Tribute at Madison Square Garden.

She also does personal freelance on the side, and more of her clients include Josh Tierney, Light Grey Art Lab, The Atlantic, Boeing, Wheelhouse Creative, and Manhattan Mini Storage.

Kat draws inspiration for her work from the world around her, and the things that make her happiest. She loves the outdoors, and enjoys climbing, hiking, and camping. Some of her favorite things are Legend of Zelda, Okami, Animal Crossing, Steven Universe, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Voltron, The Adventure Zone, Lore, Wildwood, divination (tarot, runes, and tea), and astrology.
